Although Oktoberfest is known as the largest beer festival in the world, it is in fact much more than just a beer festival. Oktoberfest is a fair for the people, a celebration of life. Revelers of all ages come from around the world to eat the food, watch the parades, ride the rides, and yes, of course, drink liters of the greatest German beer.
