Our tours include Oktoberfest trips in Munich, Germany, as well as multi city European itineraries that may include Amsterdam, Prague, and Munich. Each tour page clearly lists the travel dates, hotel plan, included experiences, room choices, payment options, and final payment deadline.

After booking, you will receive a confirmation email with your reservation details, payment information, and the next steps for preparing for your trip. Create an account with your email address to return to your reservation, review payment dates, and access tour information at any time.

Flexible Monthly Payment Plans

We believe an unforgettable Oktoberfest or European vacation should be easier to plan and budget for. That is why Spyglass Tours now offers small monthly payment plans for new tours.

Reserve your place with a low deposit, then divide the remaining balance into manageable monthly payments before your final payment date. Booking earlier generally means lower monthly payments and more time to pay toward your trip.

Your deposit amount, payment schedule, and final payment date will appear during checkout and in your booking confirmation. Please make payments by their scheduled due dates to keep your reservation active.

Hotel Rooms and Solo Travelers

Tour prices are generally listed per person, based on two guests sharing a double room. Couples, friends, family members, and other travel companions may reserve together and share a room.

Solo travelers are welcome on all Spyglass Tours trips. Select the solo traveler or private room option when booking if you would like your own room. A single room supplement may apply, depending on the destination, hotel, and package.

Our tours use carefully selected hotels that offer a comfortable place to relax after a day of sightseeing, travel, or Oktoberfest celebrations. Hotel details, room configurations, and included breakfasts are listed on each individual tour page.

Flights and Arrival Planning

International airfare is not included in Spyglass Tours package prices. This allows travelers to choose the airline, departure airport, route, cabin type, and flight schedule that best fits their needs.

For Munich Oktoberfest packages, plan to arrive at Munich Airport, also known as Franz Josef Strauss Airport, with the airport code MUC. Travelers flying from the United States usually depart one day before their scheduled arrival in Germany because most flights are overnight.

For multi city European tours, please review the individual itinerary carefully. Your tour may begin in Amsterdam, Prague, Munich, or another listed destination and may end in a different city. Plan your international flights to arrive in the tour’s starting city and depart from the final city on the itinerary.

We recommend arriving early enough to check in at your hotel, settle in, and attend any scheduled welcome event or orientation. Final arrival instructions are provided before departure.

Airport Transfers and Local Transportation

Airport transfers are not included unless they are specifically listed on your tour page or final itinerary.

Private airport transfers may be available upon request after booking. Travelers may also use public transportation, taxis, rideshare services, rental cars, or airport shuttle services to reach their hotels.

For Munich tours, a local transit pass may be included, depending on the package. Munich’s public transportation makes it convenient to travel between central Munich, hotel areas, major attractions, and the Oktoberfest grounds at Theresienwiese.

For multi city tours, transportation details such as included flights between cities, local transit passes, or transfers will be listed on the applicable tour page. Do not assume transportation is included unless it appears under the tour’s “What’s Included” section.

Oktoberfest Tent Reservations

Oktoberfest takes place at the Theresienwiese fairgrounds in Munich, Germany. The 2027 festival runs from September 18 through October 3.

Entry to the Oktoberfest grounds is free. You may walk through the festival grounds, enjoy the atmosphere, visit rides and attractions, and browse the tents without purchasing a general admission ticket. Food, beer, rides, games, souvenirs, and gratuities are separate personal expenses unless specifically included in your package.

Many Spyglass Tours Oktoberfest packages include one or more tent reservations. The number of reservations depends on the specific package and is listed on each tour page. A tent reservation provides designated seating during a scheduled time inside one of Munich’s famous Oktoberfest beer tents.

Tent reservations may include required food and beverage vouchers, depending on the tent and the reservation arrangement. Review your individual package details for the exact reservation date, time, tent, and any included vouchers.

You may visit Oktoberfest outside your reserved tent time. Beer tents are required to have some nonreserved seating available, but availability is limited and cannot be guaranteed, especially on weekends, holidays, and evenings.

Travel Insurance

Travel insurance is not included in the tour price unless specifically stated. We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance soon after making your initial tour payment.

Travel insurance may help protect your trip investment if unexpected illness, injury, travel delays, lost baggage, or other covered events affect your plans. Certain benefits, including coverage related to pre existing medical conditions, may have time sensitive purchase requirements.
